Fractal Tutorials and the Heroes Who Made Them...
I have been creating Fractals using fractal/flame software for about 2 years now, and have been so grateful for the makers of the Tutorials we learn from. In a previous journal we looked at different soft wares that are available to use...most of them FREE.
Today we look at a some of the wonderful Tutorials created by people here in Deviant Art. Without their excellent guidance...some of us would still bee stumbling around in the dark trying to figure things out. If YOU have ever been interested in making fractal images...this journal is for you!

Providing Stock+Resources - A Beginners Guide Pt01
The following five part guide is a collection of tips and tricks for stockers and those who would like to become stockers but don't know where to start - based on my personal experence. While reading, keep in mind that most of what is outlined below are guidelines and not a set of rules you never ever cross - there are exception to everything but the very first rule (I would say copyright is not debatable, after all, you expect others to respect yours, too). Also, this has gotten very long and still, I feel I forgot stuff... So if you have any additions you'd like to see in here, feel free to comment!

15 awesome photomanipulations under 100 +favs
It's been far too long since I've put together a photomanipulation feature. I hope you will enjoy this one! Each deviation had less than 100 favorites at the time of this posting.

Clarifying an Issue with Stock Resources by realitysquared, journal
Clarifying an Issue with Stock Resources
There appears to be a fair amount of misunderstanding on the subject of stock resources so what I would like to do today is attempt to clarify several issues which are of importance to the artists who generously provide stock resources to the public for use and hopefully dispel the confusion and misinformation which is beginning to circulate.
The first issue at hand is in regards to your personal stock terms
Your Personal Stock Terms
Officially deviantART maintains only one "automatic" restriction and that is "No Commercial Use" and that particular restriction can easily be overridden by the actual stock provider.
As far as official policy

Photomanipulation Eye Candy 08 July
So, I went on a "shopping" spree in the photomanipulation gallery last night and today, and I came up with quite a few stunners. Here are today's featured deviations, in categories according to why I love them. :XD: I hope you will find some that you love, too.

There is no cosmic law that states artists must suffer many long years and demeaning day-jobs before a window of opportunity cracks open just enough to hop on through.
Fellow deviant Brian Kesinger is a case in point.
His first “day-job” in 1996—he was hired straight out of his senior year of high school—was drawing Tarzan for Disney.
Brian stayed at Disney and he considers every day there a part of his ongoing education as an artist. He most recently worked on “Wreck It Ralph,” and has become active in the story department, where he
